What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 120 cannabinoids that is identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is becoming increasingly popular amongst the masses for having a wide scope of medicinal benefits – due to clinical reports and mounds of test data showing little to no side effects and a lack of psychoactivity (typically associated with marijuana products and high THC).
Cannabidiol (CBD) is not only a major phytocannabinoid, it is the most concentrated form from the three main cannabis plants. The three main forms to use cannabis are Hashish, Resin, & Oil.
With our CTFO line of CBD products, we use PCR (Phytocannaiboid) rich Hemp Seed Oil. For the first time in 1964, CBD isolation was reported and it was the beginning of cannabinoid synthesisation. Originally, this synthesis started on CBG, but since CBG is present in most of the Cannabis types in small amounts, the majority of the research was concentrated on THC and CBD. Besides the Cannabinoids that are naturally occurring in nature, pharmaceutical companies have synthesized cannabinoid compounds in order to market leading drugs in the pharmaceutical market. Some of these chemically modified drugs do not have psychoactive effects, but retain some of the health benefits from the cannabinoid properties. However, some of these synthetic drugs can have a life-threatening adverse effect, or cause other issues in the human body. Phytocannabinoids, on the other hand, have been used for many years, and no life-threatening side effects have ever been reported.
How does CBD work in the human body?CBD or cannabidiol is the main active compound in hemp, and unlike THC, it is not psychoactive, so it doesn't make people high. As you know, inside the human body there's the endocannabinoid system, with receptors spread throughout the brain and body.
At CTFO (CBD Hemp Oil), our CBD products utilize the full spectrum Cannabis plant mixed with Hemp Seed oil. Not all hemp is created equal. Our CBD Oil is made from NON-GMO, PESTICIDE and HEAVY METAL FREE, CO2 Extracted Hemp Oil.
In our experience, a full spectrum plant gives the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) the full cannabinoid profile of CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, and a much broader nutrition content. We have over 120 cannabinoids in our CBD formulas which perfectly inhibits the CB2 receptors in the body. Other competitors claim to have a 99% purity which is usually in the form of “Isolate” or an “Extract” only. Although the purity level is higher, the body is only receiving CBD, not the full cannabinoid profile. CTFO (Changing The Future Outcome) has a highly potent blend of full spectrum, whole plant CBD hemp oil extract with an added boost of CBD isolate to make it one of the most powerful formulas of CBD oil available on the market today.
The Endocannabinoid System
Every major civilization in history has recognized hemp as #1 on its list of important plants. The ancient Chinese, Indians, Egyptians, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks and Romans all revered hemp as an incomparable source of food and medicine. Now modern science is validating what the ancients all knew — and uncovering exciting new discoveries about hemp.
We are hard-wired with a system of cannabinoid receptors throughout our brains and bodies. When these receptors are activated, they enable two-way communication between body systems; something previously thought to be impossible.
Hemp Oil Extract Is In A Class All Its Own
More than 400 phytonutrients exist in hemp plants. Our Extraction technology allows us to extract all of these nutrients, without using any heat or harmful solvents. The result is a whole food with exceptional nutritional qualities. With CTFO you’re getting highly sought CBD, plus the 400+ other nutrients in a naturally synergistic, easy-to-use, easy-to-absorb form. It truly is a one-of-a-kind product.
CBD Oil and PAIN
Inflammation is known to be the source of pain. Humans and animals suffer pain from disease and malnutrition, or pain can be the result of accidents. New evidence suggests that inflammation is caused from a deficiency in the endocannabinoid system where they EC lacks operable levels of cannabinoids. Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil by CTFO is packed full of the necessary cannabinoids and nutrients that your body needs.

Cannabinoids for neuropathic pain. Fine PG1, Rosenfeld MJ. See excerpt below:
"Exogenous cannabinoids have been demonstrated to be effective in a range of experimental neuropathic pain models, and there is mounting evidence for therapeutic use in human neuropathic pain conditions."
CBD and Cancer
People diagnosed with cancer who have done holistic research most often gravitate to the potential healing powers of the sacred cannabis plant on their own volition. In the videos below two medical professionals agree that cannabis affects cancer cells.
Dr. Christina Sanchez expounds on further studies of animal model tumors and she states, "We are very sure that cannabinoids were very potent in reducing tumor growth. Cells can die in different ways and after cannabinoid treatment they were dying in the clean way. They were committing suicide which is something you really want when you have an anti-tumoral drug. One of the advantages of cannabinoids or cannabinoid based medicine would be that they target specifically tumors cells. They do not have any toxic effect on normal non-tumoral cells. This is an advantage with respect of standard chemotherapy which targets basically everything."

CBD and Autism
Scientific clinical trials are pouring in that indicate that people afflicted with autism are receiving benefits from using CBD. Full Spectrum CBD hemp oil nourishes and helps restore balance to the endocannabinoid system with: cannabinoids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, proteins, omega fatty acids, flavonoids, and terpenes. And it is understood by science that the endocannabinoid system (EC) is effective at regulating neurological functions in the body which can contribute to helping autism patients.
According to Wikipedia here are some of the symptoms of Autism:
"Features of these disorders include: social deficits, communication difficulties, stereotyped or repetitive behaviors and interests, sensory issues, and in some cases, cognitive delays."

CBD and PTSD, Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety is a built in survival instinct. When used properly anxiety could prevent someone from repercussions resulting from dangerous scenarios. When anxiety takes someone over and becomes an integral part of someone's everyday persona, this survival instinct can turn into an emotional detriment.
in pharmacology, a drug that has affinity for the cellular receptors of another drug or natural
substance and that produces a physiological effect.
CBD and Nausea & Vomiting
According to a 2013 review published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, studies have found CBD to possess the following medical properties:
CBD and Crohn's Disease & Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD)
Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) affects over $1 million people in the United States alone. Crohn's Disease is a form of IBD. Surgery is usually the end result under traditional circumstances. Symptoms of IBD are:
It is becoming increasingly more widely known that in preliminary anecdotal studies of cannabis treatments regarding IBD inflicted humans, case study candidates expressed that their IBD entered into a state of remission or the regeneration of the intestinal walls occurred for certain patients through the use of cannabis treatment.
Because of CBD's lack of psychoactive expression, CBD is gaining momentum as a possible, safe and effective new area of treatment for IBD sufferers.
The most recent published prospects of CBD for IBD were published in the journal of Pharmacology and by the National Institute of Health which determined that cannabis is effective in treating Crohn's Disease.
CBD and Liver Disease, Hepatitis & Cirrosis.
In a study done on mice models and liver disease the following findings were established from this excerpt below (SEE FULL ABSTRACT STUDY):
"CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS:
Cannabidiol restores liver function, normalizes 5-HT levels and improves brain pathology in accordance with normalization of brain function. Therefore, the effects of cannabidiol may result from a combination of its actions in the liver and brain."
Early reviews of cannabidiol indicate a relationship between the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the liver and the brain whereby CBD oil has an indirect causal effect on these receptors to protect the liver in some way from further damage. Studies on humans are anecdotal. However, studies in mice are showing great promise for CBD as a treatment in liver disease as the study above indicates.
Auto Immune Hyperactivity Disorder
ADHD is a neuro-developmental disorder with these symptoms:
Debate within the scientific community surrounds ADHD regarding diagnosis and pharmaceutical drug treatment.
Depending on the specific subtype of ADHD, specific ratios of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and CBD may be most appropriate. Anecdotal and scientific evidence suggests whole-plant cannabis may help various symptoms stemming from ADHD.
CBD and Diabetes & High Blood Sugar
Nearly 50% of the US population has been diagnosed with pre-diabetes or diabetes. Diabetes is a disease where the glucose (sugar) in the blood is not properly assimilated by the body. Glucose is the main fuel source for the functioning of the brain and cells and tissues. Diabetes means you have an excess of glucose in your blood.
Studies on diabetic mice conclude promising things about CBD as the title reveals: "Cannabidiol lowers incidence of diabetes in non-obese diabetic mice." Here is an excerpt from the abstract:
"We now report that CBD treatment significantly reduces the incidence of diabetes in NOD mice from an incidence of 86% in non-treated control mice to an incidence of 30% in CBD-treated mice. "..."Our results indicate that CBD can inhibit and delay destructive insulitis and inflammatory Th1-associated cytokine production in NOD mice resulting in a decreased incidence of diabetes possibly through an immunomodulatory mechanism shifting the immune response from Th1 to Th2 dominance."
